About me

{{ f.name }}
{{ f.role }}

Aseem has spent almost three decades in finance and operations across APAC, the last 15 based in Singapore. He is a Chartered Accountant who has repeatedly stepped beyond the finance seat to own the P&L.

At eBay he held three roles: APAC FP&A and Business Analytics for a ~US$2B revenue region, CFO India/SEA, and later APAC Business Development (M&A). He built eBay's APAC Business Analytics team from scratch across China, Korea, Australia, Singapore and India, and took India through the ~US$750M Flipkart transaction. At Asendia he was employee #2, building the APAC finance, tax and HR infrastructure for a ~€375M region. At Geodis he ran a loss-making road freight division himself and returned it to profit within 12 months. Across eBay, GE Healthcare and Geodis, he has worked on deals worth over US$1B.

Earlier, he was Finance Director for FedEx/TNT in India and Thailand, and held roles at GE Healthcare and AIG Investments. Today he works as a fractional CFO with scale-ups raising capital, expanding across APAC or restructuring.

When to talk

Finance becomes the constraint before anyone notices.

The raise gets harder to defend. The new market sits on the wrong structure. The division keeps losing money while the reports look tidy. Each quarter it waits, the fix gets bigger.

Best suited for Series A-C companies, PE-backed businesses and international companies scaling across APAC that have outgrown their current finance setup.

Also: TNT Thailand hit its first-ever margin budget and broke even in year one. eBay Analytics added strong P&L value to the APAC business.
